really liked the first set, and find the 'bobstar' thing interesting -- 'just wanna hang up there and be a little star' -- very spaced. like it. enjoyable show, but highlight of evening was the band's 'hospitality suite' back at parker meridian on 56th street. no comment on the proceedings :-)

After a few nights in the do whatever you want before drums zone, Maybe You Know pops up in the first set. One more try and someone in the band says, maybe not.
This was a great night...had alot of fun, steve stills.. black queen, iko was a groovin time.. the other one was incredible too. the whole nite rocked lots of speculation in the air would stills show up tomoro night?? he did !! love the one your with.....such a great time seems like just yesterday...peace :)

What a show!
Still remember this 2nd set like it was yesterday! The first 4 tunes-China Cat>Rider>Uncle John>Truckin' is as close to a Dead greatest hits package as one can get....and then joined by Stills for a steamin' set of tunes....

me and my companion Jake enjoyed this Brendan byrne show and to our surprise Stephen Stills showed up as surprise special guest.Black queen and iko iko blew us away. i recieved this concert on cassette the following week.the sound quality with this show only got better.

The hiss on this recording sounds like a whole new instrument. Jerry's guitar work on Looks Like Rain is classic. Great fun at both of these shows. What a great year
